Kali Linux on Android using Linux Deploy - How to install Kali Linux on any Android Phone or Tablet ?

Hey Guys I'm back with a new tutorial on "How to install Kali Linux on any Android Phone or Tablet "

Getting Kali Linux to run on ARM hardware has been a major goal for us since day one. So far, they've built native images for the Samsung Chromebook, Odroid U2, Raspberry Pi, RK3306, Galaxy Note 10.1, CuBox, Efika MX, and BeagleBone Black to name a few. This however does not mean you cannot install Kali Linux in a chroot on almost any modern device that runs Android. In fact, the developers of Linux Deploy have made it extremely easy to get any number of Linux distributions installed in a chroot environment using a simple GUI builder.


Requirements :-

• A device running Android 2.1 and above, rooted.
• At least 5 GB free space on internal or external storage.
• A fast, wireless internet connection.
• Patience to wait for a distribution to bootstrap from the network.

CONFIGURING LINUX DEPLOY FOR KALI

There’s actually very little to be done to get Kali installed. By choosing Kali Linux in the “Distribution” tab, you’ve pretty much covered the important stuff. Optionally, you can choose your architecture, verify that the Kali mirror is correct, set your installation type and location on your Android device, etc. Generally speaking, the defaults provided by Linux Deploy are good to begin with.

BUILDING THE KALI IMAGE

Once you are happy with all the settings, hitting the “install” button will start a Kali Linux bootstrap directly from our repositories. Depending on your Internet connection speed, this process could take a while. You’ll be downloading a base install of Kali Linux (with no tools) at minimum.

STARTING UP YOUR CHROOTED KALI

Once the installation is complete, you can have Linux Deploy automatically mount and load up your Kali Linux chroot image. This also includes the starting of services such as SSH and VNC for easier remote access. All of this is automagically done by hitting the “start” button. You should see Linux Deploy setting up your image with output similar to the following:

At this stage, Linux Deploy has started a VNC and SSH server inside your chrooted Kali image. You can connect to the Kali session remotely using the IP address assigned to your Android device (in my case, 10.0.0.10).

LOGGING IN TO YOUR CHROOTED KALI

Now you can use either a SSH or VNC client to access your Kali instance. The VNC password is “changeme” and the SSH credentials are “android” for the username (configured via Linux Deploy) and “changeme” as the password.

IMAGE SIZE CONSIDERATIONS

If left unchanged, Linux Deploy will automatically set an image size of around 4 GB, for a “naked” installation of Kali. If you would like to install additional Kali tools down the road, you might want to consider using a larger image size, which is configurable via the settings in Linux Deploy.

LOCAL VNC CONNECTIONS

We had to try a couple of VNC clients to get one to work properly. Although controlling Kali through a local VNC client isn’t the most convenient of tasks, it certainly is possible. However, we suspect that most people will be SSH’ing into this instance. The picture below was overlayed with a Kali Linux desktop screenshot taken from a Galaxy S4.

Well on a facebook post you can't tag your every friend in your post , but isn't it amazing if your every friend is tagged on a post and it will definitely increase the number of likes on your post .

The Requirement for this is Google Chrome , a working internet connection and a facebook account .

So lets start with the tutorial :- 

1) First of all post what you want on facebook , I mean update your status .

2) Now open it in new tab .

3) Right click anywhere on the screen and select "Inspect Element" option .

4) Now a rectangular box will open in front of you .

5) What you have to do is just copy the whole script provided here in the Link and paste it inside the Console Tab and press Enter.

Hello Guys , I'm back with a new trick "How To Share PC Internet on Android Device with USB Data Cable ??? "As you all know about Tethering in your Android SmartPhone. Tethering is the technique to share internet from your android phone to your PC or Laptop. Tethering can be done by two methods. First one is by USB and second one is by Wi-Fi. But friends, sometimes a situation comes when you have internet access on your pc but not on your android device and you don’t have Wi-Fi hotspot also. Then what will you do if you want to access same internet on your Android SmartPhone ?

No problem friends, I have already faced this problem so I am going to help you Overcome this situation. But one and only limitation of this trick is that you should have rooted android phone and if you have rooted phone then keep reading this post. I will try to help you step by step. 

Do you know this technique of using PC internet on Android SmartPhone is known as Reverse Tethering. So lets start reverse tether your Android SmartPhone.

What do you need ?

In order to be able to perform reverse tethering you will need a Rooted android phone , which is a also a major reason why reverse tethering is not much popular among android new users. If you have a rooted android phone , you can proceed further with this guide and download the following prerequisites required further in this guide .

• Drivers for your Android phone
• Android Reverse Tethering tool

Android Reverse Tethering tool is an free windows utility which makes use of ADB ( Android debug bridge ) to share your Computer’s internet connection with your android phone over an USB data cable . You can download it from this link , or visit the link provided above for the latest version of the utility .

Now Lets Start With The Tutorial :-

1) Connect your Android phone with your PC using an USB data cable and ensure that USB debugging is enabled on your phone .  (  Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging > Turn On ).

2) Extract the downloaded zip file and run the AndroidTool.exe file .

3) From the Android reverse tethering utility , select your phone from the “ Select a device “ drop down box and then from the “ Select DNS to use “ dropdown box  , select a DNS ( Choose anything apart from 192.168.1.1 ) .

4)Click on the Connect button to start the reverse tethering process . The utility will then connect with your android phone and install the required apps on your phone . If the utility crashes simply run it over again .

5)After the required apps have been installed on your phone , You will be prompted to grant root access to the USB tunnel app . Tap on “Grant” to provide root access to the app and you can access your Computer’s internet connection on your phone .

Thats it and now you will be able to access your Computer’s internet on your Android phone and even all your android apps would be able to access it too . You might be prompted with an No network connection error in intervals , its nothing to worry about and you can click ok to proceed further .

So if you will disable your internet connection before opening WhatsApp then it can not update your last seen time to its database. So simple manual solution for this is that disable your internet connection before opening WhatsApp.

•  Application Method

 There are many application available on Google Play Store to do that which you did manually. But I am going to share one of them because I tested it first and it is working fine. So here are steps , just read and follow them carefully.

1)First Install WhatsApp No Last Seen from Google Play Store .

2)Now just configure this app using tutorial given in the app.

3)Now you have to do nothing , now its app headache to hide your last seen from your friends. 

• Working of this App

This app will recieve your WhatsApp and will give you the ability to reply the message. When you open WhatsApp to reply, it will automatically disconnect from internet and when you will come back to home screen it will automatically connect you to the internet.

• For iOS devices :-

Selecting the Settings >> Chat Settings >> Advanced and then toggling the Last Seen Timestamp ‘Off’ allows users to have at least a little bit of mystery surrounding their chat status.

1) Open Google Chrome .

2) Open touch.facebook.com and login through your facebook ID .

3) Now Right click anywhere and click on inspect element .

4) Now Click the Setting [gear] .

5) Now " Click Overrides "     
    Check/Enable “Override Geolocation”.
    Type/Copy those number in the boxes : Lat = -41.289996 Lon = 174.781555

    Close setting window and Keep the inspect element window open .

6) Now Click " Check in " .

7) Don't click post , just open a new tab and open www.facebook.com and now you can make a post :-) .

How to install BackTrack on Android SmartPhone - The Easiest Way .

Hello guys, today I'm going to show you the easiest way to install BackTrack on an Android SmartPhone.
For this tutorial you need: 
1) Rooted android device 
2)Linux installer (Can be found on Google play) 
3)Zarchiver (Can be found on Google play) 
4)Busybox (Can be found on Google play) 
5)Android-VNC (Can be found on Google play) 
6)Terminal  Emulator (Can be found on Google play)

All of the programs mentioned above are free. 

Ok, now let's start, The first thing you need to do is install Busybox from Google play:

Install it, then open it when it's done, it will install some more things. When it's done, install Linux Installer from Google Play:

Open Linux installer, then click on Install Guides from the list on your right hand side:

When you click that, you'll see a list of Linux distros, click on Backtrack and you will see a screen with steps on how to install it. Now click on the second page of those steps, you will get a page that looks like this: 

Just click on "Download Image", and let it finish downloading. While it's downloading, open Google play and install Terminal Emulator, and Zarchiver.

When it finishes downloading, open Zarchiver, and look for the ZIP file that you downloaded, and extraxt the image into a root folder called "backtrack", extract the image into an external memory card not the internal one. Once it's done, open Linux Installer again, and click on launch, you'll get a screen that looks like this: 

If it didn't recognize any distro, click on Setting > Edit then change the file path there to your backtrack image, the .img file that you extracted. When it finally say "backtrack" on the drop down list, click "Start Linux"  Terminal Emulator will open, you just have to proceed with the installation steps, ask you for a new password, and some preferences. When it's done you will get a red "root@localhost~#" like the picture bellow:

You are now in backtrack! Now if you want backtrack in GUI, open Google play, and install Android VNC:

Open It when it finishes installing, and it will look like this:

Set to the same settings in the picture, but not the IP address, you can get your IP by opening backtrack terminal, in terminal emulator, and running "ifconfig" command:

Settings for VNC are, Username: backtrack Password: backtrac IP: from the "ifconfig" command or just put 127.0.0.1  Color Format: 24-bit 

Now click connect, and boom! You are in BackTrack Desktop!

When you finish using it, remember to disconnect VNC  AND exit backtrack in Terminal Emulator, else it will be taking your battery in the background. 

And note that Ubuntu can also be installed in the same exact way, just the username and password for VNC will change. That's it guys, enjoy!
