3) System

All logs are Archieved and Reviewed , we will use System Log to fulfill our purpose .

5) Now click on Windows Log and select System Log .

Install Kali Linux Using Oracle VM Virtual Box inside Windows 7

Welcome Back Guys , I'm here with a new tutorial on "Installing Kali Linux Using Oracle VM Virtual Box " .

Installing Kali Linux along with an extra Operating System is quite difficult but It's pretty easier to install inside an Operating System using Virtual Box . I'm using Kali Linux inside Windows 7 with the help of Virtual Box .

Isn't it amazing to use Both Operating Systems at the same time .

Requirement :- Windows 7 installed on your PC/Laptop (Here I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate for this tutorial), Kali Linux OS (.ISO file or a boot disk of Kali Linux) , Virtual Box .

Kali Linux :- http://www.kali.org/downloads/ Download any 32 bit or 64 bit , it's your choice , I'm using 32 bit here .

So Lets start with the tutorial :-

1) Install Virtual Box on your system , now lets get started with it .

2) Click on "New" button .

2) As I've written the name Kali Linux 1.0.6 in the name field , you can give any name , now select Linux from the second category and from the third category select Debian 32 bit or 64 bit , it depends on the Kali Linux ISO file which you have downloaded is 32 bit or 64 bit .
(I've Kali Linux 32 bit so I'll select Debian 32 bit)

3) Now we have to select the amount of RAM to be allotted to our virtual machine , I'll select 1 GB i.e. 1024 MB . You can select the amount you want to allot it's not compulsory to allow 1 GB , you can give 512 MB also or any amount you want , it depends on the size of your RAM .

4) Now we are going to create a virtual hard drive now .

5) Click on VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image) .

6) Now Click on Dynamically Allocated .

7) You can take the amount of hard drive you want for the installation , or anything else , it depends on you , here I'll take 25.55 GB , then click on create , It will create your virtual machine now .

8) So here is your virtual machine , now click on it and then click on start .

9) A screen will appear on your desktop , it will ask you for virtual optical disk file , just give that location to it , if it's in your DVD then give it the Location of Host Drive : H , if it's in your Pen Drive then give it the location I , if the ISO file is in your PC then click on the folder icon and then select the ISO .

10) Now select the ISO and click on open .

11) After all this work , now click on start . 

 12) Now Kali Linux Installation Screen will appear , Just click on install .

13) The Installation will begin now .

Kali Linux on Android using Linux Deploy - How to install Kali Linux on any Android Phone or Tablet ?

Hey Guys I'm back with a new tutorial on "How to install Kali Linux on any Android Phone or Tablet "

Getting Kali Linux to run on ARM hardware has been a major goal for us since day one. So far, they've built native images for the Samsung Chromebook, Odroid U2, Raspberry Pi, RK3306, Galaxy Note 10.1, CuBox, Efika MX, and BeagleBone Black to name a few. This however does not mean you cannot install Kali Linux in a chroot on almost any modern device that runs Android. In fact, the developers of Linux Deploy have made it extremely easy to get any number of Linux distributions installed in a chroot environment using a simple GUI builder.


Requirements :-

• A device running Android 2.1 and above, rooted.
• At least 5 GB free space on internal or external storage.
• A fast, wireless internet connection.
• Patience to wait for a distribution to bootstrap from the network.

CONFIGURING LINUX DEPLOY FOR KALI

There’s actually very little to be done to get Kali installed. By choosing Kali Linux in the “Distribution” tab, you’ve pretty much covered the important stuff. Optionally, you can choose your architecture, verify that the Kali mirror is correct, set your installation type and location on your Android device, etc. Generally speaking, the defaults provided by Linux Deploy are good to begin with.

BUILDING THE KALI IMAGE

Once you are happy with all the settings, hitting the “install” button will start a Kali Linux bootstrap directly from our repositories. Depending on your Internet connection speed, this process could take a while. You’ll be downloading a base install of Kali Linux (with no tools) at minimum.

STARTING UP YOUR CHROOTED KALI

Once the installation is complete, you can have Linux Deploy automatically mount and load up your Kali Linux chroot image. This also includes the starting of services such as SSH and VNC for easier remote access. All of this is automagically done by hitting the “start” button. You should see Linux Deploy setting up your image with output similar to the following:

At this stage, Linux Deploy has started a VNC and SSH server inside your chrooted Kali image. You can connect to the Kali session remotely using the IP address assigned to your Android device (in my case, 10.0.0.10).

LOGGING IN TO YOUR CHROOTED KALI

Now you can use either a SSH or VNC client to access your Kali instance. The VNC password is “changeme” and the SSH credentials are “android” for the username (configured via Linux Deploy) and “changeme” as the password.

IMAGE SIZE CONSIDERATIONS

If left unchanged, Linux Deploy will automatically set an image size of around 4 GB, for a “naked” installation of Kali. If you would like to install additional Kali tools down the road, you might want to consider using a larger image size, which is configurable via the settings in Linux Deploy.

LOCAL VNC CONNECTIONS

We had to try a couple of VNC clients to get one to work properly. Although controlling Kali through a local VNC client isn’t the most convenient of tasks, it certainly is possible. However, we suspect that most people will be SSH’ing into this instance. The picture below was overlayed with a Kali Linux desktop screenshot taken from a Galaxy S4.

Hello Guys , I'm back with a new trick "How To Share PC Internet on Android Device with USB Data Cable ??? "As you all know about Tethering in your Android SmartPhone. Tethering is the technique to share internet from your android phone to your PC or Laptop. Tethering can be done by two methods. First one is by USB and second one is by Wi-Fi. But friends, sometimes a situation comes when you have internet access on your pc but not on your android device and you don’t have Wi-Fi hotspot also. Then what will you do if you want to access same internet on your Android SmartPhone ?

No problem friends, I have already faced this problem so I am going to help you Overcome this situation. But one and only limitation of this trick is that you should have rooted android phone and if you have rooted phone then keep reading this post. I will try to help you step by step. 

Do you know this technique of using PC internet on Android SmartPhone is known as Reverse Tethering. So lets start reverse tether your Android SmartPhone.

What do you need ?

In order to be able to perform reverse tethering you will need a Rooted android phone , which is a also a major reason why reverse tethering is not much popular among android new users. If you have a rooted android phone , you can proceed further with this guide and download the following prerequisites required further in this guide .

• Drivers for your Android phone
• Android Reverse Tethering tool

Android Reverse Tethering tool is an free windows utility which makes use of ADB ( Android debug bridge ) to share your Computer’s internet connection with your android phone over an USB data cable . You can download it from this link , or visit the link provided above for the latest version of the utility .

Now Lets Start With The Tutorial :-

1) Connect your Android phone with your PC using an USB data cable and ensure that USB debugging is enabled on your phone .  (  Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging > Turn On ).

2) Extract the downloaded zip file and run the AndroidTool.exe file .

3) From the Android reverse tethering utility , select your phone from the “ Select a device “ drop down box and then from the “ Select DNS to use “ dropdown box  , select a DNS ( Choose anything apart from 192.168.1.1 ) .

4)Click on the Connect button to start the reverse tethering process . The utility will then connect with your android phone and install the required apps on your phone . If the utility crashes simply run it over again .

5)After the required apps have been installed on your phone , You will be prompted to grant root access to the USB tunnel app . Tap on “Grant” to provide root access to the app and you can access your Computer’s internet connection on your phone .

Thats it and now you will be able to access your Computer’s internet on your Android phone and even all your android apps would be able to access it too . You might be prompted with an No network connection error in intervals , its nothing to worry about and you can click ok to proceed further .
